Subject: [Leica] 35mm f2 lens...Oh, Canada!

Permit me a moment of lunatic  heresy, but in my opinion...and I have used
virtually every expression of this lens...the best combination is a Canadian
lens in the 346XXXX range with a metal 12585 shade.  Wetzlar provenance
means nothing in terms of lens performance.  Unfortunately, unlike the lens,
a nice shade is none-to-cheap.  That said, please let us not rejoin the
Midland versus Wetzlar brouhaha.
