Thanks Mark,
I have the book and love it. I've not made my own chemicals, but I  
believe you can buy them made up in the UK. I'll search around. I  
bought a couple of packs of Perceptol just before Ilford went belly  
up (or seemed to) and Barry died. I keep meaning to try it, but then  
I say: I should save it for something special ;-)
