Excellent, thanks very much for the specifics, Chris. I have the Tele-Elmar
135, so once I have the adaptor, I can have the first
experiments.
Even better, I get to indulge my other hobby of poring over the listings in
the Bay! Those nineties are cheap as well.

Cheers
Hoppy

Hoppy,
The appropriate adaptor is 16464 which will work for:
Tele-Elmar 135 f/4 (infin-1:5),
Hector and Elmar 135 (infin - 1:5),
90 f/2.8 first version (infin -1:3.3), and
65 f/3.5 (infin -1:2.5).

For a 1:2 magnification a longer focal lens will render objects in better
proportion. ie, the distance to the lens for 50mm at 1:2 is 6 inch while
at 135mm it is 16 inches for the same scale. My personal recommendation
would be a first version 90mm f/2.8 with a 16464 mount. Cost less then the
65 and gives nice proportion.
