Just so the harried mum didn't throw her margarita glass at you. mmmmmm margaritas and nachos. A well done for Erik for logging some military time for his country. People argue policy and rightly should consider what their government does. The folks in uniform go where they are told, sometimes in harms way and always in the service of their country. Cheers Hoppy, never shot at. -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Adam Bridge Sent: Thursday, 1 February 2007 17:25 To: Leica Users Group Subject: [Leica] IMG: Unwanted attention Sometimes you just have to be careful where you point your camera. We were having lunch at Dos Coyotes here in Davis with our son Erik who's home from the Navy. I was focusing on a hanging lamp when I noticed that the camera pointed in the direction of this family was NOT appreciated. <http://www.idea-processing.com/Images/L1000165-bw.jpg> I don't think the beer bottle belonged to the kids. After they left I noticed the floor had as much debris as the table-top which was, well, covered. Then I shot a couple photos of Erik who has only a month left before he's a silly-vilian again. <http://www./idea-processing.com/Images/L1000170-bw-crp.jpg> <http://www.idea-processing.com/Images/L1000171.jpg> All shot with M8, 35mm sumicron, probably f2 at ISO 640. Converted to B&W using PS3's new B&W tool which is pretty nice. Comments welcome and invited, of course. Adam _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
