If you do decide to buy get the physical CD as that has both windows and Mac versions on it - might come in useful at some future point. I believe there is a new version in the pipeline, but an upgrade won't be too expensive. That's in contrast to the plug-in which costs a whopping $199!!! I bought mine after a couple of weeks. There are colour as well as b&w simulations.
