Daniel - good point, but in the field, the light was such that I  
could not see the menu well to change EV, and it was on A, however I  
could have bracketed manually.

Most important practical issue, is that it was very cold with the  
wind off the lake, and my fingers were numb, so I was just pleased  
that the camera had no problem handling the temperature, and the  
image came out reasonably well.
