The less you process film, the more important it is to use fool-proof  
reels, IMHO. In addition Hewes, I still have Nikor reels made long  
ago. they are equally easy to use, but the Hewes reels are heavier  
gauge steel and hold more film. Hewes is the best. Cheaper reels  
often don't  contain all the film and become bent more easily.
