To those who remarked on suing a homeless man for $ 1  million, the original 
New York Times article pointed out that for legal reasons  only a dollar 
figure for damages is required. It goes without saying that  the antiques 
dealer 
who filed the lawsuit wants only to get the city to take the  man away and 
keep 
him away but, as the story also points out, evan that is  extremely doubtful
