Restricting the backward compatibility to force the people to upgrade is an 
old, dirty marketing trick of the whole software industry (yawn). Welcome to 
the club of the notoriously constrained users!

Sometimes they leave a small, hidden hole to escape the problem; like Steve 
says, try to change your file compatibility, it could help. 

Otherwise: ~u~p~g~r~a~d~e~ PS on your PC.... :-)
