I spent 35 summers in New Orleans and 3 years on the coast of Angola
just north of the mouth of the Congo River at 5 degrees south. The
weather on the coast of Angola was better than New Orleans. Lagos,
Nigeria and New Orleans in May & June have much in common. I can't speak
for the interior of West Africa.

Warm, humid, rain, mosquitoes. Tell her to start her malaria prophylaxis
early!

I hope she has a safe trip.
