Traditionally Nikon does better with wide angle lenses, Canon better with telephoto. As with all generalizations, there are exceptions to this too. Canon's 35mm f1.4 is decent, and Tina likes the 24mm f1.4 (I haven't used it). And as others have said, Canon can use most Leica R glass. Will von Dauster
