Scott, Mark et al:

I took several prints to the recent LHSA convention in Wetzlar. They
were all 8x12", for that was the largest size I could conveniently
carry in my luggage. One was a full frame print, the other was a
center section, cropped such that a full size print, at that degree
of enlargement, would have been 32x48" The sharpness, detail and
freedom from noise [grain?] was spectacular.

These photos (the crop is the inset) can be seen on page 13 of the
current LHSA viewfinder. If you're not an LHSA member, my M8 review,
which contains the shots, can be downloaded, as a pdf file, at
http://www.telyt.50megs.com/pdf/M8_LHSA_review.pdf (1.3mb) (Sorry,
TinyURL was giving an "internal server error" when I wrote this, so
no tiny URL!)

Yes, the ability of the M8 to make large, stunning prints, is quite
amazing. Like the DM-R, the M8 has no AA filter, and thus can
resolve fine detail that is missed by otherwise very good cameras,
often with many more pixels. For me, the problem with it's IR
sensitivity is far outweighed by the advantages the camera
offers. It is capable of producing absolutely spectacular
photographs... and that's what counts!

Cheers!
