I've stolen time to finally finish this set of
pictures shot at the Labor Day celebration in
Knoxville. For some reason they make a REALLY big deal
out of it, probably because Nashville does it up brown
on the 4th, and it's a good way to mark the beginning
of the school year in a university town.

I haven't been able to do more than skim thread-starts
for weeks now, although I did, much after the fact,
follow the one about JU-52's. I remember the one
Martin Caiden had, and used to see him flying it
around Gainesville back in the '70's when I was in
school there. And when I use to drive to Jacksonville
past the airport, I could see the DC-3 the football
team flew to games in parked on the tarmac.
