Larry,
But if you are a left eyed shooter it doesn't matter what M model you handle 
it works more efficiently rather than gouging out your right eye attempting 
to advance film with the camera still at your eye.

And if you've never used a Tom Abrahamsson RapidWinder for a short period of 
time working from the left eye, it's quite possible to "shoot 3 frames a 
second!" ;-) Doesn't mean they're absolutely excellent, but after some 
serious picture taking time it's quite possible with some types of action 
picture moments.
