A word of advice to all who would eat herring in this form--let's see if
I remember it correctly:

Don't drink champagne from soggy old slippers
Though this barbaric custom is rife.
Don't lift up a whale by its flippers
And only buy Claret from certified shippers.
Avoid eating goulash with ice cream and kippers.
Remember these things, you obnoxious young nippers
And you will do well all your life.

(Lesley Bricusse/Anthony Newley, "The Roar of the Greasepaint, The Smell
of the Crowd")

Leica content: I photographed that show, 34 years ago, with an M2 and a
90/2.8 Tele-Elmarit.
