I used to use Scotch book tape. However, the clear mailing tape sold by 
the US Postal Service in little blue plastic dispensers is maddenly 
tenacious and should do the trick. For that matter, check with a local 
crafts store for mounting tapes.  Any tape that's designed to hold a 
five-pound object on a smooth wall should work.
