Speaking of flash diffusers, I recently bought a Demb flash diffuser, and I
really like it:

I found myself using index cards and rubber bands more than any of the other
diffusers I've tried.  And that's what this thing is, basically.  Except it
allows a lot more ways to bend your index card.
