Bill

I know in the US the juristic situation is really different, where people
get millions for compensation because they microwaved their poodle to death
and it was not mentioned in the manual not to do this.

But as the M8 intelligence unit is british and the M8 camera german, US
lawyers might miss out this opportunity to enrich theirselves.

>Actually, wouldn't be a dumb Q in the US where public bodies/ entities,
>even Universities, protect their name/ logo due to threat of revenue
>(money) loss. Awhile back My Alma Mater (Univ. of TX) threatened to sue the
>City of Fort Worth (both public entities/ bodies) over the latter's new
>Longhorn steerhead logo--that copied their's.

>No need for US lawyers. They have their own specialist for
>such delicate affairs: Bond. James Bond.

>>Just wondering if the British Intelligence Unit (M8?) would
>>have any objections to the use of their name on a German camera?
>>Will they hire some famous US trial lawyer to sue Leica?
