They do their own work in their minilab.... also handle 120! . C41 of course. I am not sure about E6. B+W? Nope. Ship it home undeveloped. They have film of more than Kodak Gold ..... If you want Fuji, then there is Walmart and Kmart in Lihue and a small store ( Don's ?) that will have more common stuff. Otherwise, ship over your own. Choice over there is not great.... Of course, you could go to Lihue and visit the Walmart and get it done there... The negs will probably be good, the prints, well...... You can always have them redone when you get home. B+W filters.... Bring a ND, green and Y2 and O. We are based in Kapaa and will be there starting the 9th..... If you see a guy with a Hassy, it is probably me.... Ditto you and the Leica? I will shoot the Taro fields just outside Hanalei..... One of my favorite places. Of the places I suggested.....focus on these, they are local to you..... Kilauea Lighthouse... On North tip of the Island, so Early or Late.... weird opening hours....Have a tour that is both free, and really interesting. You get to visit some of the closed to the public areas. Overlook at Princeville for early morning... sunup + an hour or so..... Kee Beach at any time ( Bright )... color Limahuli Gardens... bring B+W film, pray for dynamic clouds....take color as well. VERY bright and contrasty. Hanalei Pier in the evening..... Color!!!! If perhaps you are staying at Hanalei Colony Resort, the beach there has fantastic waves....for viewing... If it starts to get rough and windy, head there for some good photography. ( Last year they served breakfast at the hotel dining room. I have no idea of the quality, but the views are worth even a bad breakfast. If you wish to shoot touristas dressed badly, then Bubba's in Hanalei In fact, any place in Hanalei. Do not miss Ula's in Hanalei... make your wife leave the VISA at home......The rest of the shopping is pretty touristy. Shave ice is best at the stand in Hanalei in the old beaten up truck. Look for it, she keeps weird hours, and if she is off her meds, she can be pretty nasty. But the ice is good. For eating... there are precious few places that are on or have a view of the ocean. Go to the farm market on Tuesday 2PM in Waipa up the road from Hanalei..... Very local. Weird rules. Great flowers, vegetables and some really exotic fruits.... Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net
