My daughter Charlotte is 11, and dating happens just with her girlfriends
(so far). But I would be glad she only wants a digicam and webcam from me...
With the money I spend for her figure skating lessons and training camps, I
could easily buy a digital M body plus one or two Summiluxes a year... :-( I
thought icehockey costs more, but my two 6+8yrs old boys' costs for that
sport are moderate compared to figure skating (let's say one 1.4/35 ASPH
Summicron a year).

ps - my grand ma always said: little kids, little problems. So I wonder what
will follow. The daughter slips into pre-puberty now ("get lost, I wanna
breakfast alone") and I begin to imagine what kind of the troubles I'll
encounter soon :-)

>None of them listen to their parents. (but it sinks in, in the background)
>I'm voting for the very late option. We have the same social arrangement
>here with the kids knowing each other from early school days. That's a good
>thing. Rebecca is sure to be a smart young lady. My Nicole is just heading
>for 13 and I'm hoping to survive it all. But daddy, I NEED a digital camera,
>this doesn't zoom and I can't see the pictures on my computer and I want a
>web cam.... sigh
