Hoppy This lens will mount directly to any M camera and will do you proud -- Hell, I own one and love it for its magnificent performatnce. An ADDED benefit with this lens, which you can ignore if you wish, is that the lens-head can be unscrewed and then used in turn with an adaptor to fit itself to VISO use. I regard a 135 as the perfect lens for a Leica M but, then, I hate wide-angles used thoughtlessly, as would seem to be the case. (Calm down, guys: that is just an expression of opinion that I have given here since 1994 or whenver, and not an invitation for a flame war. I know what Capa said, and I disagree, and so be it.)
