As I have heard it the projectors are comparable and both are fronted with
exquisite quality German glass as the cameras would be these companies make
which is the main issue which could be thought to compliment the glass which
makes the transparences in the first place. The Rollei's could be bought for
a fraction of the price of the Hassies but now that neither are in
production and film and slide shows become an anachronism I'm sure that has
evened out.

I thoght it made a big difference seeing all the slides shot with Leica
glass at the annual Leica historical society meetings when it was made sure
that Leica projectors were used about 8 years ago and with emphasis here
again on Leica glass projecting Leica glass made chromes. Kodachrome
hopefully and often. A big gap between that option and the Kodak 35 dollar
cheapo's with acrylic elements.
There are a couple of third partly companies making premium glass for slide
projectors (Elmo?) and they seem to be German which appeals to me anyway
from a symmetrical point of view. Symbiosis. Catharsis. Synchronicity.
Karma?
