Lawrence,

Did the Medalist have an interlock between the film advance and shutter
being cocked?

And how did it manage how far to advance the film?  By a little hole in the
back?

If anyone is really curious about the 6x9 cm negative size but does not want
to spring for a big buck Fuji, you might try to find a Kodak Medalist II.
