He also loved to make scatologic jokes with his dad and the rest of  
his family.
Just to show that he liked to provoke and didn't mean everything he  
said. Esp. not to his father, which whom he had a love/hatred  
relation if I'm not mistaking.
But I guess you're right: really beautiful people only started to  
emerge in the 20th century ;-)
