Ted - I agree with everything you said, of course! 
;-)  Unfortunately, color still outsells B&W by about 100 to 1 as 
stock :-(   Fortunately, with digital (both digital cameras and 
scanned film), I don't have to choose.  I can have both B&W and 
color!  B&W for me and color for the agencies ;-)

Are you writing a book? (I hope)
