Subject: [Leica] Can you tell me the allen wrench size for the Focomat V35

Vick, I figured someone would have been able to help you by now but,
although I never owned a V35, from looking at the picture, this is what I
suggest:

The bolts to separate the stand from the post seem to be underneath...You
say you need an allen wrench...Since this is a German device, you probably
need
an allen wrench in millimeters...Allen wrenches come in both millimeters and
in inches, typically in little bunches held together with a nut and bolt,
so
that you can all the common sizes in one bunch...They also are available
individually...

so, between now and Sunday, when you go for it, borrow a set from a friend
for both metric and so-called SAE [inches]. Just in case it's not allen,
bring
along a standard screwdriver...

Also, from the picture, there is a rotating screw on the bracket that holds
the post...Maybe, if you turn the screw you can lift out the post and solve
your problem...I'll try to send you a picture separately of the bunch of
allen
wrenches you need...I hope this helps...regards, bob

the column to the baseplate?

I am going to pick up my new enlarger on Sunday; I want to be able to remove
the column from the base.

Thanks in advance
Vick
