[Leica] Lug help needed

Maybe this goes without saying, but if they look like ordinary prints until 
held up to the light, is it likely that they were printed onto silk backing 
with the intention of viewing or displaying them by transillumination, as 
for 
example over a window in an internally-lit box?  If true, does that help any 
in 
establishing origins?
