Braun I just thought I'd mention a book I just got that has the best chapter I've found yet on scanning with the Nikon LS5000. It's "Black and White Photography Techniques" by Maurice Hamilton, Amherst Media press. In spite of the title, he does give very specific advice for scanning color film, too. He gives very good, detailed instructions on how to get the most out of the scanner. The problem with finding great information like this is that I usually decide I need to go back and scan everything all over again :-( I'll never finish!!
