True, BD, though the Olympus long primes and he slower, shorter macro  
did not occur to me as I'm kind of hoping for something in the range  
of a 25mm f1.4 (50mm 1.4 equiv). The Sigma, which like Didier I  
haven't seen yet, may be close if its wide open response is up to  
snuff. I have little doubt that a Leica/Panasonic or Oly version  
would perform up to par with my old M glass..

Especially if, as you mention below, the superb higher-end Olympus  
zoom lens performance is any guide. The 11-22 is indeed as good as  
any wide angle prime I've ever used. (Haven't tried the 35-100 yet.)
