And didn't happen then either - the creative control. He came and went from
LIFE, and spent his life fighting with editors. Except for a selection of
images in the Modern Photograph, or was it Pop Photography, annual, the
Pittsburgh project didn't see the light of day in his life-time.

The bottom line is that the man was a genius, but like many genii appears to
have been mad as a hatter - or maybe it was just the booze and amphetamines.
