I was testing my ancient Jupiter 8 (bought attached to a Leningrad). http://www.400tx.com/2006-21.html The images at f/2 through f/4 were pretty low in contast. Worse yet, I focused on the rim of his glasses, and his sideburns ended up being in focus at f/2. My impression is that it's a pretty good lens from 5.6 up.
