b.d. has apparantly not tried to buy a film camera lately. for a
fraction of what they sold for just a few years ago a film photographer
can outfit him or herself with top of the line equipment; and not just
Leica gear, but stuff from the other manufacturers as well. I managed to
sell my pristine f100 with the vertical grip for $600 and i was probably
lucky. and want to talk about darkrooms? i have a 4x5 darkroom that's
FREE. COME AND GET IT! While it's more difficult to get film and
chemicals at your local camera store I'd much rather be a film
photographer now than six years ago. Unless I had to compete with other
photographers on a deadline.
