Chris ----- Original Message ----- From: "Don Dory" Subject: [Leica] Joy for the price of film cameras OK, for you film groupies out there, the price of film eating equipment is getting wonderfully absurd. The local big chain closed out their studios and put the cameras they used out to pasture. They are selling EOS 1RS's for 250 bucks. This is one deal I couldn't pass up. Professional build, viewfinder that doesn't black out, 100% coverage, and very light use on tripods. I can buy a lot of film for the difference in price to digital. These things are the closest thing in an SLR to a rangefinder out there. Besides size, the only thing you give up is viewing outside the lens coverage area. Oh, yea, at 16bit 100+ MB files with loads of dynamic range and wonderful image choices based on the film used.
