Frank,
I am still mostly a film groupie, but get the D200.  It has enough pixels,
very good build, is now mostly available, and will most likely stay relavent
for three to five years; by relevant you will not lust too much for whatever
is the new big thing that inevitably will come out.  Really, a very good
camera.  After all, if Kyle recommends the DLeica 200 it must be a winner.
