Subject: [Leica] it's just like shooting film again! (er, i mean STILL!)

the Leica d200 i ordered from b&h just arrived. when i put the 512 mb,
er, um, agfa, pan, 100-3200 variable, er, roll of film in it, the
counter wound itself up to 67. forty seven pictures before i have to
change, um, film? holy smokes!! LEICA HAS NEARLY DOUBLED THE LENGTH OF A
ROLL OF FILM! i can now take 67 pictures without having to change, er,
film, while everybody else has to change at 37. sweeet! and i also
discovered that it has an input for a gps! so i no longer have to wonder
exactly where that drunken photo came from, it'll be in the EXIF data, i
mean, it'll be printed on the leader.

the build quality of the Leica d200 seems far superior to the Leica
d100. so far, i am very pleased.

i got the visoflex working on it on the way back from the camera store
-- it takes the old lenses too and meters with them. zoinks!
