For me, in the kind of photography I like to do, this has  
implications.  It means, for one, that if I can cultivate that same  
sense of "studied indifference," I can shoot with impunity, almost.   
I really do think it has a lot to do with practicing an attitude that  
doesn't intrude on another's space.
