Chris,
A vintage alternative, small but not as much as the Nippon Kogaku  
(and surely a tad cheaper), could be the one that Old Delft issued to  
complement their "Minor" lens (3.5cm f/3.5) and marked just "Wide  
Angle".

I think it was produced in the early 1950's? Today, Old Delft LTM  
lenses and accessories tend to be very expensive in some markets.
