Most of the slide shows that I make are on DVDs and they work perfectly in TV DVD players. I use ProShow Gold, but there are lots of programs you can use. You just have to be sure to burn them as NTSC format for USA players and as PAL format for European players. Both choices are available in ProShow Gold and both work fine. I recently completed a DVD on the Near East School of Theology in Beirut, Lebanon, and copies have been sent all over the world to many types of DVD players and everybody has reported that they work fine. It has both a music sound track and narration to go with the slides. I used to have to copy these programs onto VHS tapes and DVDs are so much easier and better!
