Subject: [Leica] One morning in a garden...

This morning I was invited over to a friend's garden to shoot some
early morning photos. She told me there was some wonderful slanted
light through the redwoods between 8:00 and 9:30.

I think she was right.

These three images are from her stands of iris:

These two rose blooms were past their prime but the subtle color
gradients and the play of diffused light over the petals made for an
interesting composition:

A red California poppy opening to receive the day. Lavender in the
distant background lets the 100 APO do some wonderful things.

All shot with the Canon 1Ds MK II and the Leica 100 APO. Speeds varied
from 100 to 400.
