I've always been curious about Nathan's interest for cycles. Then I
remembered ... he grew up in Denmark.

I was in Odense, Denmark this week ...

It's a cycle meter. It counts the number of bikes, going in one
direction only, at that intersection. This was about 2 in the
afternoon and the count for the day was up to 5338.
