I vaguely remember that I have once read a statement of HCB saying something 
like wide angle and tele lenses would not correspond to his natural way of 
seeing things - pictures shot with wide angles would "shout" at him, and 
teles would give a "voyeur" (peeper) kind of perspective. 

I guess he might have changed his mind when using a 75 Summilux or 40 Nokton!
