The whole idea of a limited number of prints I have always found ridiculous. And I'm not alone in this - no less a figure than Cartier-Bresson always maintained that you should only buy one of his pictures if you liked it, not because it was going to be worth more in the future. To make sure of that he always made all of his negs available for printing - if there is enough demand, they just keep printing. Even now, after his death. The only people who should cry about the diminishing market for "photographic art", or whatever they want to call it, are art dealers. And I for one will shed no tears for people who make money from other peoples creative work by turning it into a commodity. To hell with them. And remember - there is no such thing as art; there are only artists!
