I wasn't old enough to take pictures of Nixon with a Leica
(on topic)

But Nixon got a lot of flack for terming the "silent majority."

But I really think we have one. The radical fringes speak out
like crazy, and the silent majority, largely reasonable folks, just
quietly assume that history will deterministically result in some
reasonable result or policy or whatever.

These days, me'thinks tis better to speak out, just in case.
