I know, I've heard about it :-(   Don't know that I can budget over 
$2000 for a new model of a lens I already have, though.  I'll wait 
until the reviews come out.  I read somewhere that the older, slower 
lens had better bokeh.  Maybe that's just wishful thinking ;-)

By the way the paper that everybody has been waiting for was
