It's a liquid so mixing and measuring is a breeze. If the Rapid Fix clouds up then go to distilled water. I'm assuming the Photographers Formulary is in powder form, right? If that is the case you'll appreciate the time-saving qualities of an easy way to fix films. If you can't get your favorite developer in a liquid then mixing powder might be justified but other than that the rest is busy work. Walt
