Subject: [Leica] if i met myself, i'd ask for my autograph

Please don't mock them. It's the people who aren't allowed to own guns who
are making life miserable for those who are. If you can get the guns out of
the hands of those who aren't allowed to own them, those who are will give
theirs up. Ah, there's the rub.

I had the misfortune of sitting on my front porch and listening to gunfire
while those who aren't allowed to own guns shot at men and women in rescue
helicoptors trying to save people in distress. Mock those shooters. They
aren't playing by the rules. But criminals with guns is not shocking.
Non-criminals with guns is shocking. Why is that?

possibly, but i don't want to be beholden to a group that has a prefixed
opinion on gun ownership -- i'm hoping that it will be a neutral document
that will add some currency to the debate and get people thinking and
talking....
