You must be talking about the older version Summaron in A36 instead of E39.
They were made between 1946 and 1950 in LTM only.  The 35/3.5 Elmar however,
in A36 was made from 1932 till 1950. Early ones will be uncoated and, of
course, in LTM only.  The Elmar is the lowest profile..
