Mark asked: Wasn't the Triumph TR2/3/3a engine the one that was based on a
tractor engine?

Affirmative. I had one and raced it in SCCA and Cal Club events. Fastest
tractor in the West!

A propos nothing in particular, when I rose this morning it was raining
hard, wiping away all the accumulated snow of the past few weeks; had my
coffee and just looked out at a thin layer of white; rain has turned back to
snow. The good Lord cannot make up his or her mind; must be the Sadam and
Gomorrah that Washington has become.
