            With the fountain pen - one can demonstrate penmanship and
classic writing

            Personally I use a Mont Blanc 1810 slanted nib specially
imported from Germany

            Its a great nib for signature and minor manuscript writing

Elegant images of elegant objects.

I've been noticing people around me using fountain pens, including two
physicians who scribble prescriptions with their fountain pens.  I like
an amber Pelikan Demonstrator.  It's nothing fancy, but smooth and
you can see the near-quart of ink inside the clear piston.

Fountain Pens.  Just another anachronism, refusing to go away in the face
of technologically and economically superior disposable bics and biros.
