I did, I got to choose what I wanted.  It is the Microtek i900,  and I chose 
it over the epson simply because I have been using Microtek scanners  for 
several years, and I knew I would be able to use the software right out of  
the 
box.
 
I think for B&W medium format negative, I can't imagine a better  performer. 
 
4 x 5 is even better.  It does not approach my coolscan  5000 for 35mm.  The 
price is terrific, it runs on firewire.  
 
If I were to buy another scanner for home, it would be this one, or maybe  
the slightly less expensive I800.
